About ADHD coaching

What ADHD coaching looks like with My-Prompt Plus

ADHD can bring amazing benefits such as creativity, energy, and being inspiring and strategic. It can also bring challenges, such as procrastination, poor concentration, low self-esteem, being overly impulsive and a lack of motivation.

We work with children, students, professionals and anyone in between. Every coaching plan is individual: no generic checklists, no shame, and always a celebration when something goes right.

Your My-Prompt Plus Specialist will also be an accredited ADHD coach. They will have an excellent understanding of ADHD and will be able to show you strategies to improve your performance and quality of life. These strategies include topics such as getting started, staying on task, improving memory, increasing productivity and healthy emotion regulation. Our coaching sessions are broken into 3 parts:

  • Explain why you experience difficulties in a specific area, such as procrastination
  • Listen to your particular experiences.
  • Share with you strategies that are tailored to your needs.

This is what is known as a ‘psychoeducational’ approach, where you learn about ADHD, you understand how it will impact you, and you are introduced to the strategies you need to minimise the challenges and harness your strengths.

The metacognitive aspect of our coaching model is where we want to also learn from you.  We want to listen to your experiences which will enable us to tailor a support package for you as an individual.

Studies show that ADHD coaching can be even more effective than medication.

Our ADHD coaching progamme has received excellent feedback and we look forward to listening to your needs and sharing strategies that we know will make a huge difference.

What our users say

I wasn't sure at first. I'd tried assistive tech before and given up, but the revision methods and memory techniques have genuinely changed how I study.
Rhys
I love the rewards. Ticking tasks off and seeing my timeline of what I've achieved keeps me coming back every day.
Caroline
For the first time I feel like my ADHD is under control. The reminders, cost/value tools and the Pomodoro timer have made a real difference.
